The Chinesse New Year

The Chinese calendar is based on a combination of lunar and solar movements. Every month of January all the chinese people celebrating the Chinese New Year, its a year of the OX(ji chou).They share the blessings to others like giving delicious delicacies (tikoys,hopia,round chocolates and candies)Ampao etc. They are also celebrating the Lantern Festival at night, lantern displays,the children carrying lanterns in parade,dancing with the dragon. Chinese new years eve is a family affair, a time of reunion,thanksgiving.
